Message	early models frontier/pathfinder had a leak in the transmission cooler in the radiator that would eventually destroy the transmission. Might find one cheap or in a junkyard with a bad transmission that you could pull the motor from. Nissan finally worked with owners when they brought their vehicles in, but now that they would be much older, somebody might not want to invest the money to get it fixed and just look to unload it for cheap. Just a suggestion. (cheap fix for the problem was to just bypass that internal cooler, since it had a large external cooler up front. Running an 06 Pathfinder for many years that way with no issues, and the transmission is in perfect condition) -------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------- Conversation between my sister and my wife (shortly before we got married): Wife: "You know, sometimes I think he loves that Z more than he does me."
